The Rocky Mountain Maniacs are a rock and roll band playing everyone's favourite tunes from the 70's onward, pumping out some hard hitting originals along the way.

Formed in 2018 with founding members Kiel Edge, Marcus Steiner and Adam Logullo, the Rocky Mountain Maniacs hit the ground running with a year full of shows across southern Alberta and western B.C. As the lockdowns began, a mutual split was made with Adam and the search for a new drummer began.

Enter Paul McCart. Found on a facebook post, Paul was sent the original demo tracks and within hours returned them with impressive drum takes. From that, the Asylum Sessions Pt. 1 and 2 were created with the band members recording tracks at their houses and sharing to mix at Over the Edge Studio. 

With live venues being shut down, the Maniacs turned to live streaming and fundraising to keep the crazy fans entertained and help good causes along the way (found on our Facebook page).

At the start of 2021 guitarist and lead vocalist Marcus decided to part ways to focus solely on his project Stonegate. Luckily at one of the livestreams held at Over the Edge Studio, a guy by the name of Dustin Alcorn was leading the band The Young Adams. Seeming to be the only person right to fill the void, the call was made and within 2 days the Maniacs were whole again.

The start of 2023 saw the long awaited release of The "Outpatients Pt. 1" EP with the current lineup of maniacs. A feature album and Outpatients pt. 2 are soon to follow before the end of the year!

With venues opening up to full capacity, and events starting to come back, the Maniacs are full steam ahead booking shows, writing new originals, working on new online content for all of our crazy fans.
